Toyoda’s AF Series machines are manufactured to Toyoda specifications by Awea Mechatronic Company. These high quality vertical machining centers offer unsurpassed performance and value to high speed machining and die/mold applications. The design incorporates a large meehanite cast iron base paired with a wide, inverted Y-shaped column.
The 12,000 rpm spindle is temperature controlled for thermal stability. The premium, precision linear guideways are auto-lubricated and offer rapid traverse rates of 1,217ipm in X and Y and 1,181ipm in Z. High volume coolant flows across the angled bed to accelerate chip flow to the dual screw-type auger for efficient chip removal. Plus the conversational control and industry-standard Fanuc platform make the AF Series a seamless addition to any shop.
