Vertical Turning Centers for Optimized Workflow

The INDEX VerticalLine fills the need for cost-effective, flexible high volume chuck work. The moving vertical spindle performs both "loading" and "machining" tasks. The moving vertical spindle performs both "loading" and "machining" tasks, whereby the spindle picks up the waiting workpiece blank and transfers it to the tooled machining area. Short travels, combined with high rapid traverse rates in X and Z axes drastically reduce the idle times for loading, unloading and tool change. The easily accessible work area allows the operator to perform tool change or changeovers quickly and conveniently, thus reducing changeover costs. Highly dynamic drives, as well as thermal stability, guarantee the highest part quality.
