Toyoda Horizontal Machining

Toyoda’s FA800 combines massive machine size, speed and power to cut large and heavy parts easier and faster than ever. The FA800 offers the largest machining range in its class and the Toyoda name denotes the inherent reliability and structural rigidity that heavy-cutting applications demand.


The nominal work envelope of the FA800 is a cylinder 51" in diameter by 51" high. The work area is served by two pallets that deftly position the heaviest work pieces. The sixty-one cubic feet of work area demands a 50-taper spindle for heavy material removal. The standard 6,000 rpm unit (optionally 14,000 ,15,000 or 6,000 geared) is fully lubricated, oil cooled, and capable of thrust loads up to 3,300 pounds.
