Toyoda Horizontal Machining

Toyoda’s FA1050 combines massive machine size, speed and power to cut large and heavy parts easier and faster than ever. The FA1050 offers the largest machining range in its class and the Toyoda name denotes the inherent reliability and structural rigidity that heavy-cutting applications demand.


The nominal work envelope of the FA1050 is a cylinder 63" in diameter by 61" high. The work area is served by two pallets that deftly position the heaviest work pieces. A 50-taper spindle is standard for this level of heavy material removal. The FA1050, with 6,600 lbs on the pallet, makes the change in 45 seconds. And when at the workstation, it can index 90
degrees in 5 seconds.
